Our History
Founded in 1850 as Whitson’s Tin & Hardware Store, Woodstock Heating & Cooling has been serving the community for over 170 years. Originally focused on selling and installing Home Guard wood-burning stoves and flue material, the business evolved over time under the united vision of numerous owners to become the trusted heating and cooling service provider it is today.
In 1917, the family-owned store was acquired by Frank Czadek, who breathed new life into the business by renaming it Woodstock Heating. Today, it is proudly owned and operated by the Iversen Family, who are deeply invested in continuing the legacy of excellence and trustworthiness.
The husband-wife duo of Eric and Dawn work tirelessly in the business every day, providing top-notch services to their valued customers. By prioritizing honesty and treating each individual as family, be it a customer or employee, Woodstock Heating & Cooling has earned the respect and appreciation of the community it proudly serves. Since the Iversen’s have come into ownership of Woodstock Heating & Cooling in 2016, they have grown the business by over 400% which is simply due to the commitment to their core values and how they run their business.
